Dr. Whittington & His Staff

Dr. Ron Whittington

After completing his BS in 1969 at West Texas A&M University, Dr. Whittington went on to earn his D.M.D. degree at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1973. He opened his private practice in July of that year and has been providing compassionate, comprehensive dentistry to families ever since.

Dr. Whittington earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in July of 1984, and his Fellowship in the Academy of Dentistry International in November of 1985. These fellowships require extensive effort and study of a wide variety of continuing education topics, preparing him for any aspect of general dentistry his practice might require.

Dr. Whittington also holds active membership in many professional organizations, as a means of keeping in contact with leaders in dentistry, as well as staying abreast of the latest advances in dentistry. These organizations include: The American Dental Association, Texas State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Orthodontic Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He's also obtained special licensure to administer Intravenous Sedation and Anesthesia.

Our efficient teamwork comes from years of working together to serve patients, during which time we've developed a true like-mindedness...always considering the best interests of each individual patient. Further, we each pursue continuing education as required to stay on top of our various areas of expertise.
